Oahu, Hawaii Activities
Water Activities
Included here are beaches, waterfalls, boats, watersports like surfing and diving, and more. Oahu is a good island for hanging out on and by the water. You won't find too many isolated or quiet places here, but just about anywhere you go you'll be able to rent boogie boards or get surfing lessons or easily get your kayak in the water.
Air Activities
Helicopter tours, airplane tours, skydiving, hang-gliding - you can do it all on Oahu. This will be your best island for the more extreme sports - probably the only island that offers the most extreme of them. There is no active volcano to fly over and the biggest waterfalls are on other islands, but you can see plenty of other things or head to another island for the day.
Land Activities
Hiking, camping, museums, walking tours, bus tours, trolley tours, the zoo, historical sites will all be here. Oahu has some of the most famous landmarks of all of the Hawaiian islands. Diamond Head, Pearl Harbor, the Polynesian Cultural Center, famous luaus, famous shows and bars are all on Oahu.
